The Trumpet Talents 2015 winner, Chinese trumpet virtuoso Xiang Guo, and Brazilian trumpet wizard Fabio Brum will join The International Trumpet Days to perform pearls from the trumpet repertoire.
The dazzling performances of the internationally acclaimed trumpetists will be supported by an Estonian pianist and conductor, Jaan Ots, who is also a prizewinner of national and international trumpet competitions, so unique and refined interpretations are expected!

Xiang Guo

(trumpet, China)

Xiang Guo is known as one of the most talented Chinese trumpet virtuoso. Currently playing as the principal trumpet of Tampere Philharmonic Orchestra and prizes winner of multiple international competitions. Xiang Guo is actively performing in Europe, Asia and the U.S as a soloist, with chamber group or in the orchestra.

Fábio Brum

(trumpet, Brazil)

Fábio Brum is one of the leading trumpet soloists of the younger generation. A stupendous virtuosity, rich feeling for sounds and good taste for all styles is his trademark.

Fábio is the principal trumpet with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic. Fábio is a former member of the internationally acclaimed Canadian Brass . He has lived and studied in five different countries and appeared in more than thirty countries around the world as a soloist, orchestral performer and teacher.

Jaan Ots

(piano, Estonia)

Jaan Ots is a Estonian conductor and pianist trained at the Sibelius Academy, Conservatoire de Paris and Estonian Academy of music and Theater. In parallel with his conducting activities Jaan is an active chamber musician, performing regularly as a member of Frielinghaus Ensemble (Germany), Piano trio TEOS (Finland-Estonia) as well as guest artist at various festivals.  In addition to piano, his wide musical background also includes extensive studies in trumpet playing. Having excelled in both instruments, Jaan is a laureate of over 20 competitions.
